LERNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
MANAGE BETTER-LEARN BETTER
Continual learning and professional development are critical for any organization’s business success. To achieve the desired performance, your training plan must be aligned with your business objectives. It is equally important to constantly monitor the plan to evaluate the progress and effectiveness of training. The UpsideLMS makes this easy by providing a convenient way of managing your learning processes.

The UpsideLMS allows Administrators to add, remove, or modify courses and users. Based on identified training needs, courses can be assigned to individual users or groups of users.

An exhaustive tracking mechanism allows Administrators to track individual user progress through the courses assigned to them. Reports are easily customizable to present you with the information you need for decision-making.
Training anywhere - The LMS is web-based and requires no desktop installation. Users can access it from any location. So if some of your organizational roles require traveling or if you allow employees to work from home, the availability of training will not be hindered.
Save authoring and administration time - Quick workflows allow content to be quickly created and uploaded. Additionally, since the UpsideLMS is AICC, SCORM 1.2, and SCORM 2004 conformant, content objects can be searched and reused. They can be recombined to create new content objects without having to actually develop a new course.

Supports organizational growth - The UpsideLMS is designed to handle a high load of users. So you do not need to constantly replace or upgrade it as your organization grows.
Aids in decision-making - A host of configurable reports allows you to select data parameters, and collate and measure them as per your requirements. This gives you desired information when you need it, and helps you to take informed decisions.
Add a personal touch - The UpsideLMS gives you full control over the content. Each user is assigned courses according to the competency gaps identified for him/her. The look and feel can also be customized to make the LMS personalized for everyone.
Save on development and maintenance costs - The UpsideLMS’s multilingual support allows you to implement the same solution across diverse geographies.
Interoperability of questions - Since the LMS is also QTI compliant, questions in the question bank are described and categorized as per standards. Questions, answers, and feedback must be written and grouped as per the defined standards. This makes it easier to find the questions most suitable to a particular objective and to include them into courses and assessments. It is also easier to author assessments in various question formats.
Equal opportunity for users - Section 508 compliance for the UpsideLMS allows it to cater to users with visual

Recent articles of interest will be linked on the Home page. Topic introductions are linked on the top menu bar. You can also search, however if Google has not indexed the entire site then results may not be found. For that reason, search results are returned in a new browser page.
You'll note two new items in the menu bar: File Extension Information and a Discussion Forum. Both of these link to the CKnow related site: FILExt. To post in the forum you will need to register. This is to help prevent forum spam. Despite the concentration of that site on file extension information, a number of general questions come up and this allows me to maintain a single forum.
Enjoy! And, hopefully, learn some things about computers.

Welcome to the (again) updated Computer Knowledge website. I've moved to a new content management system (CityDesk). With this one, the server simply serves static pages with fixed URLs so the site should be faster and more stable in the indexes (at least, that's the plan).
Got Spam? If you got spam with a CKnow.com return address, please be aware that it did not come from CKnow.com as we are a spam-free zone. Return addresses are easy to forge and there has been a rash of such forgeries lately. See the Joe Job entry in the terms section for more information.
